Joe Puccio

Founder and Chief Executive

Joseph (Joe) Puccio founded Assett Group Services in 2007.

Joe has a long list of construction industry, Social Housing sector-specific, and business and general management, qualifications, including Licensed Builder and Licensed Building Supervisor, Cert. IV in Building & Construction, Registered NSW Building Practitioner, Licensed Asbestos Removalist, Qualified Scoper for the New South Wales Land & Housing Corporation, and Cert. IV in Business Management.

His overall 22-year experience in the broader industry (specialising in residential housing maintenance) began with his early working years as a carpenter for a long-established New South Wales-based construction company.

This was followed by a series of promotions through operational management roles – all of which saw him directly and continuously involved with the provision of maintenance services to the Social Housing sector.

His specific areas of expertise in his pre-Assett managerial roles included management of large-scale residential housing and maintenance contracts, strategic planning, condition assessments of Government assets for the development of forward maintenance planning, and the development of long-term maintenance budgets.

Today, as Chief Executive of Assett, he brings the many “strings in his bow” to bear in directing the company’s drive for continuous improvement – in a sector he has always recognised as having the potential for so much enhancement of service delivery – both to Government landlord agencies and to their tenant bases.
